What you'll be doing

Monterosa is looking for a dynamic Broadcast & OTT Lead to drive our growth in the sector. Building on our success powering Real-time Engagement experiences for top global media businesses including ITV, ProSiebenSat.1, ViacomCBS and SVT, you will take responsibility for driving new business for Monterosa, primarily in Europe and North America.

The role will suit someone comfortable talking about and selling technology, especially SaaS. Our commercial approach is highly consultative and the successful candidate must have an appreciation of the commercial, creative and strategic objectives of Broadcasters/OTT providers, ideally with respect to audience engagement, interactivity and digital marketing.

The successful candidate will be supported by, and work in tight collaboration with the wider Commercial Team (including Marketing) as well as our Solutions, Design and Product teams. 

What does it take?

  • You will achieve personal monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and revenue targets 

  • You'll work in collaboration with the Director of Broadcast & OTT, plan, prioritise and manage the Broadcast & OTT customer pipeline - from prospecting through to 'close'.

  • Supported by Marketing and the wider Commercial Team, conduct outreach activity, digital and in-person at events, to stimulate demand and generate leads in the Broadcast & OTT sector

  • You'll handle relevant inbound leads whether direct or via partnerships/referrals

  • You will build and nurture relationships with identified customer targets over time - in particular by mapping target organisations and developing co-ordinated strategies to develop opportunities to convert those targets to customers

  • You'll work cross-functionally with peers within the Commercial, Solutions and Design teams to ensure a seamless customer experience through contract stage, signature, and handoff

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and drive, comfortable with changing landscape and a strong desire to succeed

  • You are a fast learner and ability to grasp and synthesise creative, technical and commercial concepts 

  • You will be a proven Commercial Executive looking to join a fast paced SaaS sales team

  • You will ideally be working in a SaaS organisation and have exposure to or experience in the Broadcast & OTT sector

  • You will be able to self-manage and create clear performance frameworks that will lead to required target delivery

  • You will have experience with Solution Demonstration-based sales process and Pre-sales collaboration
